MORE FROM ME

Was hast du am Wochenende gemacht? (What did you do this weekend?) 📖 — the Monday-morning question you’ll get asked EVERY week. Ready to answer? So that’s it! Lately I’ve been thinking about my relationship with learning a language and unavoidably, the beautiful influence of it to this space and directions of mya5corner’s content. A few notes from learning German & traveling around in Germany the past few weeks. This is a new weekly series I’m starting this August, all the issues are written and sent out as weekly newsletters and published as blog posts. ✨ Link in bio ✨ Are you ready to “graduate” from the language beginner level? This Week 11’s language study plan, for me, should be about structures and expressions that make you sound polite, descriptive, and natural, signaling a B-level ready. "If You Speak To A Man In A Language He Understands, That Goes To His Head. If You Speak To A Man In His Own Language, That Goes To His Heart.". Was machst du gerade? (What are you doing right now?) 🤔 wait, how do you say “-ing” if German has no progressive form? A new blog post for language beginners: make sure you know these structures and can explain why you love a season, a hobby activity, or anything…in any target language you’re learning. Exactly a year ago I started (and completed) my first 30-day Language Journal Challenge. The date of August 15 marked the halfway point so I posted this reel & it went viral❣️🙉✨ I’m so grateful and over-excited that so many resonated with my love for #language and #journal.
